How to convert your blogspot.com to dot tk website

Are you publishing your blog with Blogger.com? Are you feeling that your long domain name like your-blogname.blogspot.com, giving you bad reputation at many points of view? If your answer is yes! Then you came to right place and read out my post .

In this post I will show you how to convert a website like : www.hacknexus.blogspot.com to http://www.amarhelloween.tk/

Follow the below steps :

1. Open www.Dot.tk website.
2. Enter your preferred Dot Tk domain name and click Go. If entered domain is available, you will be promoted for further steps. See the Image below for details.











3 . Now it shows availability of your domain. For free domain you need to produce minimum of 25 hits per 90 days. Free domain has same services as paid domain. Select your choice and move on to next step.

4. Enter your blogspot URL and set registration length as 12 months. Now sign up with Dot Tk.
Here you have to verify your Dot Tk account by email or you can also use social Networking accounts like facebook, yahoo, flicker,google etc.





5. Now log on to your Dot Tk account and click on Go to domains. You will get Domain Panel page and then click Modify Option.

6. Here you will get Pop up window of Domain settings. Select Dot TK DNS Service and configure your DNS settings as shown in the screenshot below according to your domain name i.e. replace nexushackers.tk with your dot tk domain and keep all the remaining options same. Configurations methods are clearly explored in below image.



Keep the IP Address same as shown above i.e. 216.239.32.21 
Only change the Host name with your DNS while rest everything is same.

Dot Tk settings in Your Blogger :


1. Log on to your blogger account.

2. Go to Settings and find Publishing option in your dashboard. Now click on Add a Custom Domain. You will be prompted to buy a domain for your blog.

3. Simply click on Switch to advanced settings. Then enter your Dot Tk domain with www in the place of www.nexushackers.tk (as shown in picture). Here you have to put tick mark for redirect option. Otherwise your domain would not work without WWW. Now save your settings.



Note that changes will be appeared within 30 minutes. So be patient and check back your domain later.

Powershell Tip : How to find the IP Address of a VM from a HyperV

Today we are going to see how to fetch the IPv4 Address details of a VM from a HyperVisor console. We will be using Powershell to achieve the same with a One-Liner code.  You can modify the Command as per your need. Our requirement is to check Only the Running VM's and  get the VM Name and its corresponding IPv4 Address. So lets get started. CODE (Execute in HyperV ): Get-VM | ? How to see remote changes before doing Git Pull

Before going through the steps, lets first understand what is the purpose of GIT Pull ? In simple terms, GIT PULL is a GIT Command which access the Remote repository and checks which all files were modified or created and is different from the local repository. Once it finds that info, it downloads those file to your local repository.  Technically speaking, GIT Pull runs 2 commands i.e GIT Fetch and GIT Merge in background.
